Careers in Construction Month

October is Careers in Construction Month, a time to increase public awareness and appreciation of the entire construction workforce. Construction is one of our nation’s largest industries, employing more than 5 million individuals in the United States and the need for new construction craft professionals is projected to increase by 1.5 million before the year 2021.

During Careers in Construction Month, we want to honor construction industry professionals and the critical role they play in the development of our communities.  We also want to celebrate and recognize all the career opportunities that exist in the construction industry.
