Back to Home

The Bandit SG-40W is an aggressive, yet economical priced stump grinder designed to travel over delicate terrain leaving minimal footprint. Wide profile flotation tires with dual drive wheels allow the SG-40W to traverse over a variety of terrain conditions reducing impact to the ground. Four-wheel drive ensures the unit has plenty of power to traverse uneven terrain.

Key features on the SG-40W, include an aggressive cutter wheel drive system, enhanced operator visibility, and enhances stability.

Operator controls are mounted on a 3-poisiton console. So, no matter the position of the stump, you’ll be able to get an excellent view of the grinding action. Two joysticks control the travel of the unit, while a single, easy to use joystick controls all cutter wheel functions. This set-up allows an operator to efficiently control all functions increasing versatility and productivity.

A Kohler 38 horsepower EFI gasoline engine is easy to start, operate, and provides ample torque to power the cutter wheel through stumps of various sizes.

Hydraulic pump shop is unmatched. I made the mistake of going somewhere else before bringing my pump here. These guys were more than helpful and friendly. Went out of their way to help me find a solution for my problem even when it didn’t benefit them. This is how businesses should be run. I won’t go anywhere else.

Too bad Poole Cat Field Service is better at invoicing than actually getting my machines moving.

A prompt and courteous technician arrived, and correctly diagnosed two problems with my mini Ex. Thank you. I corrected those problems, but machine still did not work.

He diagnosed a fuel problem as a clogged filter, rather than a bad fuel pump which I managed to diagnose. I also figured out, via help on the internet, that the fuel shut-off solenoid was bad.

Machine runs fine now. So my advice is to check the internet, before letting Poole charge you $870 for a two hour field visit. And you can find a perfectly fine aftermarket fuel pump for $20 rather than the $250 that Poole charges... and it arrives faster,

Need to teach a tech how to drive a service truck. Around 2:48 on highway 40 east, the truck pictured (plate ending in 8236) flew across 3 lanes of traffic to meet the Cleveland rd exit. Almost hit a semi and caused me to swerve with my children in the car. Glad making the exit was more important than children’s lives.
