A prompt and courteous technician arrived, and correctly diagnosed two problems with my mini Ex. Thank you. I corrected those problems, but machine still did not work.
He diagnosed a fuel problem as a clogged filter, rather than a bad fuel pump which I managed to diagnose. I also figured out, via help on the internet, that the fuel shut-off solenoid was bad.
Machine runs fine now. So my advice is to check the internet, before letting Poole charge you $870 for a two hour field visit. And you can find a perfectly fine aftermarket fuel pump for $20 rather than the $250 that Poole charges… and it arrives faster,
