Scholarship Spotlight!

We are excited to highlight some of the 2025 Gregory Poole Scholarship Program recipients. Featured this week is Ava Linnen, the daughter of Mike Linnen, a Branch Service Manager II at Gregory Poole’s Washington location. Ava plans to attend Beaufort Community College before transferring to East Carolina University. After graduating from college, she plans to use an Associate degree in Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry to advance in the field of science and become a geneticist working with DNA sequencing and other genetic technologies. In her free time, Ava enjoys sunny days on the beach, good thrift spots, a fulfilling workout, and slamming the sink full of dishes after baking and cooking up a storm!
