 Our welding shop is equipped with MIG welders, stick welders and a 2-inch plasma cutter. Gregory Poole certified welders build and repair buckets, blades, sticks, booms, motor grader circles, roller frames, loader towers and more. We also do custom fabricating on equipment to meet any customer requirement.
Our welders draw on information provided by Cat's world-famous metallurgy labs to repair damage on high-impact components like buckets and blades. Their skills can add years to the life of these expensive, hard-working tools.
We have the people and tools to weld, bend, drill and grind large metal components. All the sheet metal from a Certified Rebuild job goes to the fabrication shop. The shop also handles restoration of heavy-duty parts like dozer blades, buckets and scraper bowls.
The welding shop welders repair cracks, build up edges and fill bolt holes to be retapped. They grind and sand surfaces to restore components to their original shape and strength. The fabrication shop plays a major role in making the Certified Rebuild look new when it's put back together.
Gregory Poole has the solution for emergency repairs for machines that can't be brought into the shop. Our qualified field service technicians will come to your job site. This department also performs welding services on other makes and brands of equipment. We offer comprehensive field service coverage throughout eastern North Carolina.
